Jean E. Puiforcat joined his family’s silversmithing firm in 1922. He was mathematically inclined and transferred his creativity into the Art Deco designs for silver for which he became known. This demitasse coffee pot is a prime example of his creations. The applied border and use of lacquer combined with silver exemplifies his style in the highly collected Art Deco period pieces.
