| This is a lovely and unusual sterling silver vase by Tuttle Silversmiths. The flaring, tulip-shaped body is supported on a circular base flanked with two figural swans. Each is rendered with great detail including life-like feathers and large expressive eyes. The combination of modern styling in the flaring, undecorated bowl of the vase with the sculptural details of the base makes this a uniquely dramatic and eye-catching vase. It is in excellent condition and has been beautifully crafted from heavy gauge silver. It is marked under the base with the maker’s mark Tuttle Silversmiths, the word Sterling, pattern number 590, and the Calvin Coolidge date symbol for 1926. It measures approx. 9 1/2” high, its opening is approx. 8 1/4” in diameter, and it weighs approx. 32 troy ounces. This antique silver vase would make an elegant and complementary addition to any décor. A distinctive shape combined with pretty decoration! Price: $4,000.00 Stock #BD135 |
