| From a large selection of antique English goblets, this is an exquisite sterling silver goblet by the London silversmith Edward Hutton. The cup stands on a stepped, circular foot with a delicate beaded border and has a flaring stem with a central beaded knop. The U-shaped cup body is divided into two segments; the two half has been left plain while the bottom has been decorated with inverse fluting. The interior has been colored with a light gold-wash. This goblet is in excellent condition and has been expertly crafted. It measures approx. 6 1/2” high, and has an opening of 3” in diameter. It is fully hallmarked including the maker’s mark of Edward Hutton below the rim. This lovely antique silver goblet is understated and refined making it an excellent gift for any taste or occasion.
