| This is a lovely wine goblet by the Gorham Manufacturing Company in a timeless design. Standing on a spreading, circular footring and low, flaring stem, the U-shaped cup of this goblet has lovely curving sides that create an elegant profile. The surface has been left undecorated making this piece modern and simple; a pure design that reflects its superior craftsmanship. This goblet is in excellent condition and measures approx. 6 1/2” high, approx. 3 3/8” in diameter, and weighs approx. 6.5 troy ounces. It is marked under the base with the mark of the Gorham Manufacturing Company, the word Sterling, and pattern number 272. The classic design of this antique silver goblet would make it an excellent gift to mark any occasion. It has not previously been engraved, but could easily be personalized.
