| This is a lovely sterling silver and cobalt glass basket by Gorham in a timeless design. Standing on a circular footring, this circular basket has a deep openwork bowl with pieced lattice decoration and a pierced band of egg and dart decoration. The basket has a lovely shaped, openwork swing handle, and a bright blue cobalt glass liner. This basket is in excellent condition and measures approx. 5 1/2” high to the top of the handle and approx. 4 1/2” in diameter. It is marked below the rim with the maker’s mark of Gorham Manufacturing Co., the word Sterling, pattern number 90, and the retailer’s mark of Bailey, Banks & Biddle.
