| This is a gorgeous sterling silver loving cup made by the premier American silversmiths at Reed & Barton in a lovely Art Nouveau design. This elegant loving cup features a flaring cylindrical low-bellied body with three elegantly curved and bifurcated handles with curled and leafy ends that resemble vines. The everted, wavy rim is decorated with deeply chased flowers and roses that are sculptural and dramatic. This loving cup is in excellent condition, and has not been monogrammed though it could be engraved. This piece is superbly crafted and is very heavy gauge silver. It measures approx. 8 1/4” high, its opening is approx. 6 1/2” in diameter, and it weighs approx. 42 troy ounces. It is marked under the base with the maker’s mark of Reed & Barton, the word Sterling, pattern number 100.
