| This is a lovely sterling silver trophy cup by Birmingham silversmiths George Nathan and Ridley Hayes in a classic design. Standing on a circular, stepped pedestal base this large trophy cup has a deep and wide circular bowl divided in the middle with a plain band that is repeated around the rim. It has two bold, C-scroll handles which create a dynamic and strong silhouette. This trophy is in excellent condition overall and has not been monogrammed but has a wonderful surface for engraving. It is finely crafted and would make a striking addition to any trophy case. It measures approx. 8 1/4” high, the opening of the cup is approx. 7 1/4” in diameter, and it weighs approx. 46 troy ounces. It is fully hallmarked under the rim, and stamped Made in England under the base. The timeless Georgian design of this trophy makes it equally suitable as a presentation cup or a decorative piece.
