The two circular shell dishes are supported on ball feet and are joined at the center with a ring handle formed by scrolls on a decorative base. The shells have been articulated with a reverse-fluted design in rows that brilliantly catches light. This double candy dish is in excellent condition and shows Gorham’s outstanding quality. It measures approx. 12” long and approx. 6” wide, and weighs approx. 13 troy ounces. It is marked on the reverse with Gorham maker’s mark, the word Sterling, and pattern number 42677/1.
