| This is a lovely sterling silver tea caddy by the William B. Durgin Company and retailed by Pittsburgh’s Grogan Company in a charming Edwardian design. The classic shape of the rectangular tea caddy has chamfered corners and a removable, circular cap lid. The perimeter and cap are decorated with delicate scrolls and flower clusters in a light and elegant arrangement. This tea caddy is in are in excellent condition and measures approx. 4 1/4” high, approx. 4” long, and approx. 2 3/8” wide. It is marked under the base with the maker’s mark of William B. Durgin, the mark of Grogan Company, the word Sterling and pattern number 230C. This wonderful size and decoration of this charming antique tea caddy makes it a small treasure.
