| This is a beautiful sterling silver asparagus server by premier silversmiths Tiffany & Co. in a lovely Rococo Revival design. This shaped, rectangular server stands on four scroll paw feet and has deep, upturned sides with a wave edge. It is fitted with a removable tray on four ball feet with two small pull handles and has been elaborately pierced in patterns of scrolls and flowers. This asparagus server is in excellent condition, and is the finest quality and gauge silver. It measures approx. 2” high, 12” long, and 8 ¾” wide, and weighs approx. 40 troy ounces. It is marked under the base with the mark of Tiffany & Co., the words Makers, Sterling Silver 925-1000, pattern number 100776, order number 7843, and the letter T for its founder Charles L. Tiffany, used from 1891-1902. This antique silver asparagus server is a rare and unusual piece in Tiffany’s unparalleled craftsmanship and would make a lovely accent to any table setting.
