| This is a very handsome sterling silver humidor box by the premier silversmiths at Tiffany & Co. This finely crafted rectangular box features a fitted hinged lid and an etched design of a grille-work pattern that covers each side of the box. The top has a small rectangular cartouche that could be monogrammed. This box has long, elegant proportions that would fit neatly on a desktop. The interior of the box is lined with cedar with a movable divider, and under the lid is covered with a goldwash. This set is in excellent condition and is the finest quality and gauge silver. Each piece is marked under the base with the mark of Tiffany & Co., the words Makers, Sterling Silver 925-1000, the letter M for John C. Moore, Tiffany’s president from 1907-1947, and pattern number 22360C and order number 8290. The box is approx. 2" high, approx. 10” wide, and approx. 3 1/4” in depth.
