| This is a beautiful American sterling silver and crystal vanity set, prettily decorated with fine quality guilloche enamel in a lovely shade of rose pink. It comprises 8 pieces: a hand mirror, a hair brush, a large powder jar, a pair of rouge jars, a pair of large perfume bottles and a button hook. The crystal has been simply but effectively decorated with an elegant design of incised vertical lines which encircle the bases of the jars and bottles, rising and falling in a neatly symmetrical geometric pattern in the Art Deco style. The engine-turned enamel has a warm and softly lustrous hue which is most appealing to the eye and which provides a distinctive contrast with the cool elegance of the sterling silver. The two perfume bottles both have an aesthetically pleasing silhouette and each has a long and elegant dauber which adds to their desirability. The set is in perfect condition and is extremely attractive; the silver having a nice patina and the enamel being of a very high quality, both in its craftsmanship and in its lovely coloration.
