| This is a lovely sterling silver serving set comprised of a fork and knife by an American maker. Each piece in this beautiful set features a sterling silver handle with shaped sides that encloses realistically modeled strawberry, leaf and vine decoration. Each element has been worked to sculptural effect and includes a wonderful variety of textures. The strawberry and vine decoration meanders across the handle and wraps around the obverse in a wonderful, organic way. Additionally the bowl of the spoon has also been decorated with the strawberry and vine motif conforming to its elegant shape. Each piece is in excellent condition and has not been monogrammed. Each is stamped on the reverse with the maker’s mark of a banner with the initials IH, and the word Sterling. The spoon measures approx. 9" long, and the fork measures approx. 9 ¼” long.
