| This is a beautiful Austrian silver, oval shaped box with lovely enamel decoration. The hinged, lid has a painted scene of a wooded landscape with a lake and a tree in the foreground. This scene is set against a white enamel background with engine turned decoration that is repeated on the sides. The sterling silver border of the lid has delicate swags, and a basket-weave motif. The bottom of the box has an engine turned guilloche design. The interior of this box is gold washed. It is marked on the lip of the box under the lid, and stamped 925 sterling. This box is in excellent condition with fine enamel decoration. It measures approx. ½” high, 2 7/8” wide and 1 ½” long.
