| This is an exquisite large-size gilded bronze gallery picture frame with three openings: a rectangle in the center flanked on each side with ovals. The frame is rectangular with an extended arch in the center of the top. The outer border is comprised of bands of neoclassical designs with a large size anthemia and scroll pattern. Each opening is framed with a simple border comprised of a band of leaves and a band of beading. The beige silk background is accented with ribboned laurel wreaths in each corner, and tripod stands with flames at each side. The bottom has a unique scroll, floral swag, and bow motif, and the top has a lovely design of two classically garbed women flanking a crowned eagle in a scroll cartouche. The back of the frame is covered with fabric and has a loop for hanging and recessed hinged stand in matching fabric. The frame is in excellent condition with very fine and detailed decoration. The frame measures approx. 18" wide and approx. 12" high. Each oval opening measures approx. 2 ½” wide x 5” high and the central rectangular opening measures approx. 3 3/4" wide x 5 5/16" high.
