This lobed, circular bowl has a deep interior with wavy sides, and a wide border that is stunningly modeled as an openwork trellis with beautiful anemones and flower buds. This design has been executed in high, sculptural relief; the casting is incredibly life-like and has been finished with incredible detail adding interesting texture and light to the piece. This dish is in excellent condition, and is a very heavy gauge. The bowl measures approx. 2” high and approx. 10” long, and weighs approx. 32 troy ounces. It is marked under the base with the maker’s mark and retailer’s mark of Bailey, Banks & Biddle, the word Sterling, pattern number 2016, 10 IN., and the number 92.
