| This is a simple and elegant sterling silver trophy by Tiffany & Co., which has a U-shaped body on a low, circular pedestal base. The side handles have a soft curve creating a classic silhouette and attach to the body terminating in a spreading, naturalistic design. This trophy is in excellent condition overall and has not been monogrammed. It measures approx. 8 1/2” high, its opening is approx. 7 1/4” in diameter, and it weighs approx. 34 troy ounces. It is marked under the base with the mark of Tiffany & Co., the words Makers, Sterling Silver 925-1000, 4 Pints, pattern number 18435 introduced in 1913, order number 7050, and the letter M for John C. Moore, Tiffany’s president from 1907-1947. The timeless design of this trophy would be equally suitable as a decorative vase and is a lovely example of the fine quality of Tiffany silver.
