This is a beautiful and unique sterling silver and enamel centerpiece bowl made by premier American silversmiths, Tiffany & Co. The soft curves of this low, circular bowl create an elegant silhouette that is the height of the Art Moderne style. The bowl rests on a low trumpet foot adding height to this sculptural piece. The exquisite enamel decoration on this piece makes this bowl truly special, and it features a central circle filled with a arrangement of rambling flowers and leaves highlighted with green, dark blue and yellow enameling against a background of turquoise enamel. This design is surrounded by a ring of squares in yellow and turquoise enamel accented with florets of dark blue, green and yellow enamel at intervals. This same ring is repeated as a larger border around the rim of the bowl. This bowl is in excellent overall condition and is a substantial weight. It measures approx. 2” high and its opening is approx. 9” in diameter. It is marked under the base with the mark of Tiffany & Co., the words Makers, Sterling Silver 925-1000, pattern number 19707A, order number 6489, and the letter M for John C. Moore, Tiffany’s president from 1907-1947. Its elegant design and unusual enamel decoration make this Tiffany bowl a true treasure!   Price: $3,250.00   Stock #BB166
