| This is a very beautiful and stylish pair of cut and etched crystal American perfume bottles topped by lovely sterling silver and guilloche enamel stoppers.
Each has a classically elegant silhouette which tapers downwards and culminates in a circular base which has been deeply and crisply cut into a geometric pattern on the underside.
They have both been decorated all around in the neo-classical style with cut glass garlands and swags prettily interspersed with delightful etched glass flowers.
The stoppers each have a background of engine-turned enamel in a lovely soft and muted shade of pale sky blue surrounding and exquisite central floral motif.
This is set in soft white enamel surrounded by a pale yellow border and consists of an enchanting be-ribboned bouquet set between sprays of leaves and pink roses.
The decorative motifs have all been beautifully crafted with fine quality workmanship and have been attractively rendered in softly romantic pastel colors.
This lovely enamel work has been encircled by a sterling silver border incorporating meticulously detailed flowers and geometric shapes.
The silver has been stamped on the base with the word Sterling and the identifying mark of the silversmiths Foster and Bailey of Providence, R.I.
The perfume bottles are both in excellent condition and their distinctive and elegant shapes coupled with their truly exceptional stoppers would lend a touch of sophistication to any setting.
They each measure approx. 2 1/2" in diameter at the base and stand approx. 6 1/2" tall.
