| Here is a very elegant 5-piece sterling silver tea and coffee set comprising tea pot, coffeepot, creamer, covered sugar bowl and waste bowl. Each piece features an undecorated pear-shaped body, with gentle curving spouts and plain stepped lids that are surmounted by a stylized floral finial of curved silver petals surrounding a fluted, oval wooden finial capped with a circular, beaded silver accent. The exquisite handles, with ivory insulators on the tea pot and coffeepot, are tapered at the base, and at the top attached to the bodies with a trifurcated scroll, providing a beautiful detail. The bold design of the finial provides an excellent contrast to the gleaming, undecorated silver bodies of each piece. All pieces are in excellent condition and have not been monogrammed. Each piece is stamped with a pattern number, the words Sterling, Denmark, and the maker’s mark of C. C. Hermann of Copenhagen.
