GORHAM SILVER AND MIXED METAL NAPKIN RING CIRCA 1880

This sterling silver and mixed metal napkin ring is a lovely example of Aesthetic Movement silver by Gorham, one of America’s leading silverware firms. Its richly hand hammered surface provides wonderful sparkle and texture. This napkin ring features applied mixed metal decoration of two entwined flowers on a ground of applied granulated metal. These beautifully modeled flowers are formed in three-dimensions, and are realistically bent and curled. The interior stamped with the identifying marks of the Gorham Manufacturing Co., pattern number 675 L, and the word “Sterling,” and the exterior rim is stamped “& Other Metals.” This napkin ring measures approx. 1 3/4" high, and measures approx. 1 7/8” in diameter. It is in excellent condition with beautiful color and very crisp decoration.   Price: $1,500.00   Stock #AY635
