This is a very pretty clear crystal perfume bottle decorated in the Art Nouveau style with a sterling silver overlay pattern of vines and iris flowers. The whiplash tendrils of the vines swirl around the bottle revealing 3 beautifully-detailed iris flowers which have been artfully incorporated into the flowing foliage. A fourth iris flower can be found covering the stopper. In the front of the bottle a circular monogram has been expertly engraved with a very elaborate 3-letter monogram, MSS. A vine at the base of the bottle has been stamped with a pattern number, 999/1000 Fine and the identifying mark of the Alvin Corp. of Providence R.I. This company was responsible for producing much of the very finest quality silver overlay ever made and this piece is a fine example of their expertise in this area. The bottle is approx. 3 1/2" in diameter and stands approx. 5 3/4" tall to the top of the stopper. It is a beautifully-made and very attractive item.   Price: $750.00   Stock #
