SILVER OVERLAY PERFUME BOTTLE, C. 1915
| This is a clear crystal antique silver overlay bell-shaped perfume bottle encircled by a row of stylized silver overlay flowers.
The large multi-petalled flowers are separated from each other by angled leaves to create a simple yet classically elegant design which is most pleasing to the eye.
A single large flower tops the stopper which culminates in a long dauber.
A pair of the flowers flanks a small curving cartouche which has no monogram or signs of mono removal.
There is very nice attention to detail on all the leaves and petals and everything is in excellent condition. There are no maker's marks visible which is not unusual in items of this kind.
The unusual shape of the bottle combined with the rarity of the long dauber makes this a very collectable item which would add a touch of elegance and distinction to any vanity area. It stands approx.5" tall.
