Edwardian sterling silver novelty sugar. Made by George Nathan & Ridley Hayes in Chester in 1902. A lady’s shoe with allover chased scrollwork and flowers on stippled ground. Applied satin-textured bow. Sole and heel plain. Interior gilt-washed. Very good condition. Dimensions: H 4 1/4 x W 2 1/2 x D 7 7/8 in.

With: Victorian sterling silver sugar tongs. Made by John Edward Bingham in Sheffield in 1887. U-form with oval jaws. Engraved flowers and scrolls, as well as single letter monogram. Fully marked including Walker & Hall stamp. Very good condition. Length: 3 3/4 in.

Total weight (silver only): 5.2 troy ounces.

In shaped leather-bound case with silk lining, and fitted velvet. Lining has gilt stamp for Regent’s Street retailer Shepheard & Co. Case dimensions: H 3 7/8 x W 10 1/2 x D 5 3/4 in. #BS655
