Charming French 950 silver and enamel picture frame. Oval window and flat surround with weave-patterned guilloche blue enamel band between solid white borders. Sides silver. With glass, silk lining, and stained-wood back and hinged support. Fully marked with Minerva head and Parisian maker’s stamp Gaston Bardies, who was active 1897-1914. Very good condition with strong and intact color. Wood appears to be original with associated age-related wear.
