Set of 12 sterling silver scallop shells. Made by Gorham in Providence. Each: straight and tiered flutes, scalloped rim, and 2 ball supports. A big set – perfect for an informal buffet. Hallmark includes model no. 42677. Seven have date codes: 3 were made in 1940s, 3 in 1950s, and 1 in 1960s. Two have retailer’s name JE Caldwell. Very good condition.
