Sterling silver tea and coffee service. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Mass., ca. 1910. This service comprises kettle with hinged cover on stand, coffeepot with hinged cover, teapot with hinged cover, sugar with cover, creamer, and waste bowl, all on serving tray.

Hollowware: Kettle, coffeepot, and teapot, and creamer have a faceted and baluster body. The creamer and sugar have a squat, curved, and faceted body. All covers domed and faceted with bud finial. All feet rectangular with faceted corners. The kettle has a scrolled and stationery handle. All other handles scrolled bracket. The creamer has a wide lip spout. All other spouts scrolled and vertical.

Tray: Rectangular with faceted corners and scrolled handles applied to ends.

Ornament: Engraved flowers and scrolled cartouches (blank for engraving). Applied shells, scrolls, flowers, and foliage.

A fine traditional service in excellent condition. Hallmark includes pattern no. 625.
