| Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks by Tiffany & Co., New York, Circa 1910. This lovely pair of sterling silver candlesticks is in a sinuous style, evidence of the transition from Art Nouveau design to the Edwardian Neo-Classical revival. The bodies are acid etched with anthemion and bellflower motifs. The sconces are set with detachable bobeches. The bodies are of hexagonal paneled design, the sconces and bases are of oval shape. The underside of the base is stamped with Tiffany & Co.’s maker’s mark, sterling mark, pattern #17659A and order #3357, weighted #32. The bases are weighted, as indicated, however, the candlesticks are of heavy gauge. Height: 9 1/4 Inches. Bases measure: 4 1/2” X 3 3/4”. Excellent Condition and nice patina.
