At bottom is chased (and chaste) troubadour scene: Men in tunics and hose and women in gowns and wimples dance amidst leafing tendrils. Strapwork cartouche (vacant). Interior lightly gilt. Hallmark includes no. 8/3965. Very good condition.

Round bowl with tapering sides on abstract plant support: tendril terminating in bead and mounted to leaf alternating with tendril with two beads at base. Stepped oval foot. Visible hand hammering. A fine piece from the early years that demonstrates this maker’s experiments with plant motifs. Hallmark (1915-27) includes no. 6. Fine condition.
