Here are 2 rare and unusual clear crystal "Souvenir" perfume bottles decorated with sterling silver overlay and clearly marked across the front with the names of 2 very different cities; Minneapolis and Sayville, Long Island.
The back of each bottle is decorated with a pair of iris flowers set on curvilinear stems, an interesting contrast with the angular lettering on the front.
The silver is of good quality and is of a heavy guage, thus allowing for finely-detailed work on the design.

This is a very pretty clear crystal perfume bottle decorated in the Art Nouveau style with a sterling silver overlay pattern of vines and iris flowers.
The whiplash tendrils of the vines swirl around the bottle revealing 3 beautifully-detailed iris flowers which have been artfully incorporated into the flowing foliage.
A fourth iris flower can be found covering the stopper.
In the front of the bottle a circular monogram has been expertly engraved with a very elaborate 3-letter monogram, MSS.
