A beautiful bulbous design mounted in sterling on the cover with a standing lion and shield, the lion is finely molded with a long mane very finely defined. Edwardian Silver And Cut Glass Decanter, London 1903 BE786This sterling silver mounted cut glass decanter was made by the silversmithing firm of Edward Streeter, London, in 1902. It is fully hallmarked on both the sterling silver hinged lid and collar. The cut glass body is cut in a hobnail motif with 4 heart shaped sections. The silver lid, collar and handle are repousse and chased with floral, scroll and foliate motifs. The decanter is in excellent estate condition with little or no evidence of wear.
