An Antique early 19th Century English Sterling Silver Wine Goblet adorned with a carved band of grapes and leaves and a smaller carved band of shells further down. The stem and pedestal are decorated with more subtle, finely engraved beading bands. The script monogram “EEG” is beautifully engraved on the body of the cup. Made by Charles Price, London 1813. This beautiful 19th century decanter is overlaid with silver in the Art Nouveau manner. The overlay consists of scenes of birds amidst foliage. The body is of bell shape with a silver floral decorated detachable lid. The central cartouche form reserve is hand engraved with the monogram “R” in the Gothic style. Height: 8 3/8 inches. This sterling silver mounted cut glass decanter was made by the silversmithing firm of Edward Streeter, London, in 1902. It is fully hallmarked on both the sterling silver hinged lid and collar. The cut glass body is cut in a hobnail motif with 4 heart shaped sections. The silver lid, collar and handle are repousse and chased with floral, scroll and foliate motifs. The decanter is in excellent estate condition with little or no evidence of wear. Height: 10 3/4 Inches.
