A bell shaped etched Crystal Decanter with an ornate Sterling Silver stopper in the highly coveted “Chrysanthemum” pattern. An Antique American Sterling Silver Overlay Decanter adorned with an ornate overlay design of grapes and leaves. The neck of the decanter is eight sided glass. The finial is fully silvered and is decorated with a figural bunch of grapes. A finely engraved inscription on the stopper reads “WMC” in script. This is an elegant sterling silver bottle coaster made in the Edwardian style by Gorham Mfg. Co. of Providence, RI in 1910. This sterling silver mounted cut glass decanter was made by the silversmithing firm of Edward Streeter, London, in 1902. It is fully hallmarked on both the sterling silver hinged lid and collar. The cut glass body is cut in a hobnail motif with 4 heart shaped sections. The silver lid, collar and handle are repousse and chased with floral, scroll and foliate motifs.
