Antique American Crystal Vanity Jar with a Sterling Silver Cover. The sterling Cover is decorated with a beautifully border of scroll work and roses and fits onto a ten sided crystal pot. Although it was originally used as a rouge jar, It's a perfect complement to any vanity and can hold a variety of earrings and rings. Made by Simons, Bro & Co. of Philadelphia Circa 1890. Fully hallmarked excellent condition lovely patina. The jar measures approx. 1 3/4' and stands 1 1/8" high.

The tortoise shell cover is inlaid with sterling silver in an Adams design. The silver is fully hallmarked with English hallmarks for Birmingham 1926. This crystal and silver jar is very lovely. The crystal jar is 10 sided. It measures 1 1/4 inches by 1 inch. The tortoise shell and the crystal are in excellent condition. The patina is beautiful.
