Pair of red glass perfumes with silver overlay. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1900. Each: Globular with short neck and everted rim. Ball stopper with short plug. Repeating overlay pattern with whiplash lines and scrolls as well as stylized leaves. Neck and rim in collar as is stopper base. Cartouche frame has engraved interlaced script monogram. A spare and controlled design that reveals plenty of rich red. Hallmark includes no. D943. Very good condition.
