Large sterling silver flask. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Arched top with hinged and cork-lined cap. Acid-etched ornament. At bottom oak branches and fleurs de lys with reeded curvilinear border.

On front a pair of nude wrestlers heave and grapple. A fine exhibition of male brawn, probably inspired by Classical sculpture, such as the celebrated Roman marble group on view at the Uffizi in Florence. On back a scrolled, interlaced, and flower-strewn monogram.
