Traditional sterling silver Revere bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1945. Curved sides, flared rim, and stepped foot. A historic form that can suit many modern uses. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, date code, no. 41659, and phrase “P. Revere / Reproduction”. Very good condition.

George V sterling silver covered urn. Made by Lionel Alfred Chrichton in London in 1916. Girdled urn with half strapwork on stepped domed foot; leaf-capped s-scroll sides handles. Cover double domed with vasiform finial and radiating strapwork. Strapwork chsed and engraved on stippled ground. A poignant tribute to the lasting popularity of Edwardian Neoclassicism in the dark days of World War I. Fully marked. Very good condition.

American Edwardian Classical sterling silver loving cup, ca 1910. Tapering bowl with flared rim and curved bottom on reeded domed foot; three leaf-wrapped and scroll-mounted handles. Elegant form with plenty of room for engraving. Fully marked including stamp for Theodore B. Starr, a New York maker and retailer, and no. 5490. Very good condition.

Victorian Classical sterling silver loving cup, ca 1890. Baluster bowl with flared rim and raised foot. High-looping capped double-scroll handles. Exuberant embossed and cast ornament with scrolling leaves and scallop shells contained by fluted frames. Fully marked including maker’s (Frank W. Smith) and retailer’s (Theodore B. Starr) stamps, no. 1334B, and volume (6 1/2 pts). Very good condition with deep patina.
