Gorham Patinated Mixed Metals Vase, 1886 BF239This unusual patinated copper and applied silver Vase was made by Gorham Co. of Providence, RI, in 1886. It is hallmarked on the underside of base with Gorham Co., style #Y50, the anchor hallmark, and Gorham’s datemark for 1886. The copper body retains a majority of the original patinated finish, and is decorated with an applied silver underwater scene of a crab and several fish swimming through underwater fauna. Antique American Sterling Silver Vase Circa 1910 BF334A substantial American sterling silver flower vase trimmed with a subtle cast pierced chased and engraved design of scrolls, leaves and flowers.
The mouth of the vase flares softly at the opening and is adorned with a gently scrolls, leaves and figural flowers.
The vase is raised on a spreading pedestal foot. This lovely vase can hold a flowers arrangement.
The vase was made by Ferd Fuchs & Bros, New York Circa 1910.
