This two handled American sterling tray is Circa 1920. It has a very nice classic Adams design and portrays an urn with bows on each side. It is oval in shape and is done in the English Adams style with swags and bows on each side. It is hallmarked on the back Gorham Sterling. It measures 15 1/2" long by 11 1/2" wide. It has substantial weight at 25.5 ounces. It is in excellent condition.

This is a charming Antique Sterling Silver Pin or Whatnot Tray, of diminutive size, made by Tiffany & Co., New York, between 1891 and 1895. The tray is hallmarked on the underside of the base with Tiffany’s maker’s mark, sterling mark, pattern #12792, and “T” for pieces made between 1891 and 1895. This is a fabulous and unusual Victorian Period Sterling Silver Well and Tree Tray made by the venerable English silversmiths John Mortimer and Samuel Hunt of London in 1841. The tray is fully hallmarked on the back. It is also marked 653 and Mortimer & Hunt. The underside of the base is inscribed with “No 1 and 196,15” for the first tray in the series purchased.
