This elegant sterling silver shaped oval tray was made by the venerable silversmithing firm of Tiffany & Co., New York. The tray has a double border designed in the Tiffany & Co Marquise pattern. At the turn of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it was not uncommon for Tiffany to manufacture holloware services to coordinate with their flatware patterns. This is a lovely tiffany 8 sided cake plate with beautifully Acid Etched panels with space fleur-de-lis and stylized scrolling heart design, a very heavy 35 oz. It measures 12 1/2" in diameter. This is quite beautiful. Is in lovely condition and has excellent patina.
