Henckel & Co., New York, a maker known for small sterling silver articles. Circa 1910. Fully hallmarked, excellent condition, nice patina. This is a very unusual English silver tea caddy. Square in shape and mounted with four scroll feet, this tea caddy is designed in a more traditional Dutch style. An ornate raised, repousse scroll design adorns all four sides of the tea caddy, and on two sides of the caddy, two oval plaques of a hunting scene grace the center of this design.
