Nice quality sterling silver tea strainer in the form of a woven basket. Would be used to strain the tea directly from the spout of the tea pot into the tea cup. We have tested and is sterling silver. No mark we can see. 2 1/4 inches to top of handle. Unusual piece.

A cylinder-shaped Antique American Sterling Silver Tea Caddy decorated with an ornate repousse scrolls design and figural finial. Made by Tiffany & Co., New York, N.Y., T Hallmark, circa 1895-1902. Fully Stamped. Lovely Patina. Excellent Condition. 7.5 Troy Ounces (Very Good Weight). The tea caddy measures 3 ½ in. in diameter and stands 4 ¼ in. high.

This is a very unusual English silver tea caddy. Square in shape and mounted with four scroll feet, this tea caddy is designed in a more traditional Dutch style. An ornate raised, repousse scroll design adorns all four sides of the tea caddy, and on two sides of the caddy, two oval plaques of a hunting scene grace the center of this design.
