This is a beautiful shell shaped bon bon dish made as a reproduction of an English George III period butter dish. It has a pierced porringer style handle attached to a 3 ball footed scallop shell form bowl. The piece is fully marked on the underside with makers mark of Old Newbury Crafters, Newburyport, MA, sterling and style number WB141. This bon bon dish would grace the presence of any style room. Weight: 3.8 Troy Ounces. Length: 6 3/4 Inches Overall. Condition: Excellent.

This pair of silver double salt cellars was made by Felix Horovitz of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Felix Horovitz worked in Frankfurt between 1900 and 1935. The salts are fully hallmarked with the maker’s mark and touchmark for German silver. The silver frames are in the neoclassical style with cut purple and clear glass liners. This beautiful swan form sterling dish with etched glass insert was made in Germany, circa 1890. It was made in the sterling silver standard and was most likely made for export. The swan’s body is realistically engraved, chased and repousse with feather decoration. The interior is silver gilt. An English sterling silver presentation cup on pedestal with a figural dog perched on each handle. Small floral mounts also decorate each handle and a small floral collar adorns the lower stem of the cup. The cup was probably designed as a trophy for a hunting or sportsman event. Made in London, England in 1938. The cup is quite heavy with a weight of 14 troy ounces. It stands 10 ¾ in. tall and measures 5 in. at the mouth.
