It is fully hallmarked and reads “Cartier HAND MADE Sterling”. The coffee pot is in excellent condition and has a nice patina. It stands 9 in. tall and measures 3 3/4 in. at its’ base. It weighs 13 Troy ounces.

This Tiffany & Co., New York Sterling Silver Egg Cup is engraved with Tiffany & Co. and the pattern number 5453 for pieces made in 1879. The egg cup is double sided, with one end smaller than the other, which is typical of this particular type of egg cup. The body is repousse with a floral and fern motif, the rims are scalloped with an undulating border. Height: 2 5/8 Inches. Weight: 2 Troy Ounces.

These spoons are quite interesting. All are in the aesthetic taste. The largest spoons marked Gorham sterling with a number 1995. It is 3” in length and is the shape of a shovel. The second spoon is marked Gorham sterling number 2035 and has a figural starfish attached o the end. It is 2 ½” in length and has a figural shell spoon. The 3rd and 4th spoon are identical. This is a wonderful silver covered dish made during the 1950’s. It is of simple hemispherical design. The body is plain and unadorned. The circular slightly domed cover is applied with small teardrop like discs in a sunburst pattern. The handle is comprised of three connected teardrops attached to the lid. This elegant J.E.Caldwell of Philadelphia letter opener, page turner has a beautifully cast figure of William Penn as it’s handle. The blade is acid etched with “N.W.D.A. This is an elegant set of 12 sterling silver terrapin dishes originally used to serve terrapin or diamondback turtle soup. Terrapins were a highly prized delicacy in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In the 1920’s, with the onset of Prohibition, the liquor necessary for making the soup became unavailable, so Terrapin Soup went out of style. Matched set 4 English Sterling Silver knife rests by George Angel made in London 1862. Set on 2 figural Lyre supports with a twisted rope design attaching the supports.
