Gorham Sterling Silver Japanesque Salt Spoons C 1895 BF223These spoons are quite interesting. All are in the aesthetic taste. The largest spoons marked Gorham sterling with a number 1995. It is 3” in length and is the shape of a shovel. The second spoon is marked Gorham sterling number 2035 and has a figural starfish attached o the end. It is 2 ½” in length and has a figural shell spoon. The 3rd and 4th spoon are identical.

10 Danish Silver Small Dishes, 1959 BE713This is a striking set of ten small Danish Sterling Silver Dishes, made by Hans Hansen of Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1959. The dishes are fully hallmarked with date mark, maker’s mark, Denmark, Sterling and pattern #398. The oblong dishes are raised on an interesting hand cut geometrically shaped foot. Terrapins were a highly prized delicacy in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
