English Edwardian Sterling Shaving Mug, Sheffield, 1905 BF526This is an unusual English Sterling Silver Covered Shaving Mug, made during the Edward VII period in Sheffield, England in 1905. The mug retains its original sterling pierced liner for the soap. The lid, mug and liner are appropriately hallmarked. The body is mounted with a spout and geometric strap form handle. The whole is raised on 3 trefoil shaped feet. The mug and liner are in excellent condition. Height: 5 1/2 Inches. Weight: 10 Troy Ounces. $1,500 |
