This compote was made by Gorham Mfg. Co. of Providence, RI circa 1915. The compote is hallmarked on the underside of the dish with Gorham’s maker’s mark, sterling and pattern #A2806. Gorham began manufacturing Plymouth pattern sterling flatware in 1911. Holloware in the Plymouth pattern was made to coordinate with the flatware.
