Martele Silver Centerpiece Bowl, Providence, RI. 1912 BF865This gorgeous and understated centerpiece bowl was made by the Martele division of Gorham Mfg. Co., of Providence, RI. in 1912.
The bowl is fully hallmarked on the underside of the base with Martele's hallmark, 9584 for the high silver standard used by Martele, and the date letters of z/pz, which dates this piece to 1912.
The bowl is exquisitely handmade and decorated with numerous poppy-like flowers and foliage on the rim.
