Magnificent Sterling Candelabra, Howard & Co., 1902 BF291This magnificent pair of American Sterling Silver 6-Light Candelabra was made by Howard & Co., New York, in 1902. The bases are marked with Howard & Co., Sterling, New York and 1902 for the year the candelabra were made. The bases are weighted, but are of very heavy gauge. The arms are unweighted and weigh a total of 204 Troy Ounces. The candelabra are made in the George IV style and are beautifully cast with undulating acanthus leaf and shell form motifs. English Sterling Silver Candelabra LONDON 1928 BE964This stately pair of Georgian style sterling silver 3 light candelabra was made by L.A.Crichton of London, England, in 1928. Crichton was known for making very fine reproductions of Georgian sterling silver holloware and flatware. The candelabra branches are detachable so that the Candlesticks may be used on their own for less formal occasions. The Candlesticks are weighted but are of heavy gauge. The branches are unweighted. Italian Art Deco Silver Candelabrum Circa 1935 BE316This is a beautiful silver and ebonized wood 4 light candelabrum made by Sant’Elia in Milan circa 1935. It is hallmarked with the Milan mark for circa 1935 and the maker’s stamp of Sant’Elia as well as the 800 silver standard mark. Apparently, many pieces by Sant’Elia were exhibited in the “Il Deco in Italia” exhibit in Rome, 2004. Length: 11 3/4 inches.
