This gracious Tiffany & Co., New York, Sterling Silver Bread Tray was made in a pattern that was first produced by Tiffany in 1900. The rim is decorated with an applied flowerhead and fern border, the body is pierced and engraved with stylized floral and scroll form decoration. The bread tray is fully marked on the underside with the Tiffany maker’s mark, sterling standard, pattern number, order number and “C” for pieces made between 1902 and 1907. American Sterling Silver Bread Tray by Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, RI, circa 1915. This piece is hallmarked with Gorham’s maker’s mark, sterling and pattern # A4203. The Bread Tray is of shaped oval form with applied scroll and pendant floral border, two inset handles. This lyrical bread tray would be a beautiful addition to any dining table. Length: 14 1/2 inches. Weight: 12.5 Troy Ounces. Condition: Very Good Estate Condition.
