This is a lovely sterling silver vinaigrette made by the Birmingham silversmith Matthew Linwood. The lid of this hinged, rectangular box is decorated with a central, rectangular medallion that could be engraved against a background of bright-cut diaper-work. The bottom has a guilloche border with a bright-cut bellflower at the center.
