Sterling silver slotted spoon in Medallion pattern. Made by Gorham, C 1875. Tapering and curved handle terminating in circular bowl. Handle decorated with linear ornament, scrollwork, flower, and woman’s profile on medallion. Bowl has scalloped rim, piercing, and gilt residue. An early example of the historic Gorham pattern. (Medallion was first produced in 1864.) Fully hallmarked. Excellent condition.

This very large soup ladle is a simple design and was made in Sheffield, England in 1850. It is quite heavy and weighs 8 ounces. It is hallmarked J and I Cox. The pattern is Fiddle and Thread. It is in good condition with a nice old patina, and measures approximately 13 inches in length.
