This is a very unusual pair of variegated Cranberry to Clear Glass Sterling Silver Floral Overlay Vases, made circa 1910. The vases are made of lobed glass in a pale Cranberry color, fading to Clear Glass. Each vase is overlaid with engraved sterling silver in a dandelion pattern, in opposition. The fact that the vases are decorated as a left and a right indicates that they were originally made as a pair. This is an unusual 4 sided cranberry silver overlay vase on foot. It is engraved with flowers and leaves. It measures 8” in height and 1 ½” in width. The condition is excellent and the color of the glass is exquisite. Wounderful for a garden cutting.
