This is a beautiful silver overlay wine decanter made circa 1890. The glass is clear and the silver overlay is executed in a beautiful swirling pattern with grape cluster and floral motifs. The stopper is original to the piece and is decorated with conforming motifs. Height: 12 Inches. Condition: Excellent.

This beautiful 19th century decanter is overlaid with silver in the Art Nouveau manner. The overlay consists of scenes of birds amidst foliage. The body is of bell shape with a silver floral decorated detachable lid. The central cartouche form reserve is hand engraved with the monogram “R” in the Gothic style. Height: 8 3/8 inches.
